Katie Rushworth with the Love Your Garden Team

Hello, I’m Katie Rushworth. I’ve been a gardener for twelve years, and for ten of those, I have worked alongside my good friends Alan Titchmarsh, Frances Tophill and David Domoney on ITV’s Love Your Garden.

Together, we’ve transformed more than 100 gardens to date – so I like to think I’m pretty good at making the most garden spaces of all shapes and sizes!

I love spending time in gardens and being outdoors in general and I find great comfort in the reliable rhythm of nature and gardening. Gardens are truly personal spaces, and they’re all unique – I believe that anyone can make a beautiful garden. The greatest gardens I’ve seen or had a hand in creating are the ones that truly reflect their owners.

I live in the countryside just outside Leeds with my husband, two teens and my dogs Ziggy & Yoko. When I’m not gardening, most of the spare time I get is usually spent being a taxi service or walking the dogs. I also love to cook – especially the eating part afterwards!
